About Me

I am a local WNY photographer looking to help families capture important memories. Finding a new family photographer can be a challenge with so many to choose from these days, but I’d like for you to get to know me better, and see if we would make a great fit!

 My name is Brittany Munn; I am a wife, and a mother to three beautiful children- two boys and one girl.  I was born and raised right here in WNY, and I am a graduate of Clarence High School. While at CHS I enjoyed a few photography courses, and loved learning how to develop film in the dark room. My college years were spent locally at Buffalo State, and I graduated in 2008 with a Business and Marketing degree. Some of my favorite hobbies outside of photography are traveling, kayaking, riding my bike, and spending time with my favorite people! 

 Back in 2015, the youngest of my three kids was diagnosed with a rare liver disease called Biliary Atresia at 4 months old, and was found to be in Stage 4 liver failure. Capturing moments with our son became very important to me, since we didn’t know if we would have him in our lives much longer. Thanks to many wonderful people, we were blessed with the gift of photography.

We walked through a hard trial, but God walked with us, and guided every step. One verse that I held tight to was John 16:33, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” Take Heart Studios is named from this verse. The peace we felt through our journey, no matter what the outcome was to be, was indescribable!  Today, our son is a healthy active boy thanks to God, the living liver donation option, and his very special daddy!

So this is me! A wife, and mother of three, who knows the value of preserving memories. Our families are constantly changing and growing, so capturing the “now” and retaining this special time can be very meaningful.
